The Senate of the University of Northern British Columbia is inviting nominations from undergraduate and graduate students for:
- Nine Student Representative Positions (term of office: September 1, 2021– August 31, 2022)
These positions will include:
- At least one student from each faculty
- Two undergraduate students, elected at large
- Two graduate students, elected at large
Senate normally meets monthly, except in July and December, and where additional meetings may be scheduled to deal with special issues. The meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of every month, in the Senate Chambers, from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. The Public Sessions are held first, followed by the Closed Sessions (as required).
If there are more nominations received than there are positions available, an electronic election will be held April 15-16, 2021 in which all eligible members of the student societies are permitted to vote. Candidates will be asked to provide a short citation that will be included on the ballot.
