Applied Analysis Hub (AAH)

Applied Analysis Hub (AAH)

NBCGSS is proud to promote the Applied Analysis Hub (AAH) , a student-led initiative that strengthens the Northern BC applied research community. The AAH offers employment opportunities for graduate students as Teaching Assistants in various specialized roles.

The Applied Analysis Hub provides comprehensive support to graduate students and upper-year undergraduate students conducting research projects or theses at UNBC. Whether you’re struggling with data analysis, need help with statistical programming, or require assistance with scientific communication, the AAH is here to help.

Services Available:

  • Analysis Services: Support in R and Python programming, statistical analysis, data wrangling, study design, and Git/GitHub
  • Communication Services: Assistance with academic writing, presentations, professional communications, and scientific figures through one-on-one meetings and workshops
  • 3D Design Services: Support with projects that require custom 3D modeling for research equipment and 3D printing

The AAH offers virtual and in-person office hours with dedicated Teaching Assistants, plus regular workshops on essential research skills. All graduate students are encouraged to take advantage of these valuable resources to enhance their research capabilities and academic success. Financial support for the AAH is generously provided by the Offices of the Vice President of Research and Innovation, the Vice President Academic and Provost, and the Dean of the Faculty of the Environment.
